GENERAL AGREEMENT

We the seminar organizers at Kaigozan Dojo have organized seminars and events several times a year for many years now. We assure you that we will do our best to give you a good training experience, organization and also good training that the instructor(s) will give you (we carefully select the instructors we want to teach at the seminars we organize).

But unfortunately we need to have this agreement, there is nothing strange or suspect about it. If you are sincere you don't have anything to worry about. We are sorry for taking up the time it takes for you to read this agreement, but it is best for all parties if you do so that everything is as crystal clear as possible.

If you find something that you don't agree on, or something that contradict something else we said please contact us. Because it might be a typo, or something that we could have phrased differently (english is not our native language!). We have never had any problems or complaints that we haven't solved! We will certainly not risk the good reputation we have worked so hard to establish as a good and professional seminar organizer!

Please also read the Special Agreement for each seminar or event which will overrule this General Agreement.

Payment

We need your application and at least the seminar fee on our bank account on time * (transfering money takes several days, please check with your bank). You can pay the rest at the registration at the seminar. If you pre ordered food or anything else that we have expences for you have to pay for that.

If we don't get your fee on time we will charge you the door fee. We might also cancel your lunch and everything else you pre ordered if we are not sure that you will show up. Very often there is someone that send in an application but never shows up, this is not very nice as we do have to keep a budget and pay expences. Even if we cancel pre ordered things there is still expences we have to pay.

We can not give back money if you don't show up and never contact us. We need to hold the budget, meaning... pay salaries, rent, transportation, hotels, food etc, We assume that you will come and we keep a reservation for you, so please let us know if you can't come, we might be able to work something out.

Cancelling

If you can't come and let us know one month before the seminar, we can give you back 80% of the training fee (we keep the rest for administrative costs and contribution to the flight tickets, hotel, instructors, rent etc). Transfer of booking to someone else costs 100 SEK extra in administrative costs etc. Payment of pre- ordered items such as DVD, T-Shirt we can of course send to you if you can cover the posting fee. We ask you to look over your insurances so that they cover your loss if you for some reason can not participate or train!

Bujinkan Guidelines & Misbehaviour

We expect that you know the Bujinkan Guidelines. Also the national laws.

Safety.

Do not use metal weapons or any other dangerous objects, unless you get permission from the organizer (it is the organizer who decides things like this, not the instructor)! The instructor may use a mogit� (metal sword that is not sharp) for example to explain techniques, this does not mean that you are allowed to use metal swords during the training without the organizers permission.

We take for granted that everyone take precautions in training and don't swing around weapons or training tools) without control.

We do our best to try and keep a safe environment and can not be responsible for any individuals sudden dangerous behaviour. If someone is behaving dangerously you as a participant should let the organizer know about it. Safety must come first!

We do not accept anyone participating in training under influence of drugs or alcohol. Even if you use strong legal medicines, have a hangover or are just tired or lost concentration, please be careful as you don't have the same amount of control. Again, safety must come first!

Accomodation

We can usually offer you to sleep in the dojo we rented for training. Sometimes we need to charge you because it is an expence for us, this vary from time to time. If we haven't said anything there is no breakfast. You should bring what ever you need we can not provide you with anything else than space on the floor during the night.

If something get stolen or something get destroyed and we don't know who did it, or if we can not get compensated financially in any way we might hold all the people who used the dojo responsible and demand everyone pay their share. So it is important that you all show responsibility, both we as the organizer and the owner of the dojo expects that nothing get lost or destroyed. Of course this also means that you don't leave the dojo doors unlocked when you leave.

Force majoure

We the organizers reserve the right to ban anyone we want from the location based on the Bujinkan guidelines, national or regional laws, after one or two warnings, or simply "gut feeling". This have never happened before, but we won't hesitate to do it if we need to.

We can not be held responsibile for things happening we can not prevent, for example war, nature, third parties etc. We can not be responsible for instructors who cancel or don't show up for any reason (flight schedules, personal reasons etc). We, the organizers and the instructor(s) can not be held responsible for accidents during the training. We can not take responsibility for lost property, if you give it to us to store you do it on your own risk. We can not guarantee any refund if something like this happens. Please check your insurances! We also reserve the right to deny access to our event; even throw someone out because of bad behavior, disrespect, drug abuse, mentally instability, anyone endangering or abusing those participating at the event, even just based on our "gut feeling". We also reserve the right to change this agreement if needed!

We will of cource do the best we can of the situation, but we can not be held responsible if something we can not control happens. This also means if we can't get hold of you (we don't got correct contact information from you, or you don't answer, or get our message).

Note that we have added 30 SEK fee for payments through PayPal to cover what we have to pay using this service.

If you pay too after Wednesday March 3'rd 2010 you have to pay the full door fee when you arrive at the seminar.
